The Lower NInth Ward Neighborhood Association is centered on the long-term recovery, revitalization, and sustainable rebuilding of the historic Lower Ninth Ward after Hurricane Katrina, focusing on repairing/rebuilding homes, promoting community leadership, ensuring equitable resources, and preserving the neighborhood's unique cultural heritage. They aim to empower residents to return and thrive by addressing deep-seated inequalities and fostering a strong, resilient community.
Port NOLA Board Meeting
The Port of New Orleans Board monthly meeting meets on the third Thursday of each month, at 1:30 PM at 1350 Port of New Orleans Pl, New Orleans, LA.
The Board releases the agenda 24 hours prior to the meeting. At this time, we do not know if there is a specific agenda item relating to us. Even if we are not listed on the agenda, however, it is still a great opportunity to gather as a show of support as well as participate in the Public Comment process. If you wish to speak, it is best to be there by 1:15 at the latest in order to sign up.
Additionally, parking is limited and should the main lot be full you may have to park further away (adding extra time as well).

The Holy Cross Neighborhood Association’s (HCNA’s) primary goal has been to improve the living conditions and serve the needs of our Lower Ninth Ward residents while preserving the cultural and architectural heritage of our area.
